I can be very, very nasty when someone steps on my tail!! An adult who always picks on a child and puts the child down is a coward, coward, COWARD!! I just can’t understand why are there such person exists in this planet. The world would be sooo…sooo..peaceful without these morons, a VIRUS to our society!! Sheesh…

I just bought a nice lacy and sexy dress and was trying it for hubby to see..

Me : Honey, how do I look?

Hubby : Beautiful, nice. (his eyes never took off from his laptop)

Me : Honey, can you just stop looking at your laptop and look at me and tell me how I look?

He looked at me for a second and said:

Hubby : Nice, beautiful (then he continued looking at his laptop).

Hahaha..is that how a typical husband behaved after 10 yrs of marriage?

Then Little J came by and said…”Wah! Mummy, you look so…so…beautiful! When did you buy this beautiful dress?” and he made my day.

Someone asked me…hey why are you suddenly so active in Facebook ah? My reason…. “him”, “he” inspires me… In fact, my friends list in FB increased threefold even since I had “him”.

We met at the shopping mall a month ago. It was love at first sight. “He” is smart, intelligent & charming, “he” has all the qualities that a person would look for in a lifetime partner. My previous partners all dumped me after 3 years and the moment I saw “him”, I felt this strong chemistry. I knew ”he” is the ONE..

Introducing my new love, Acer 4740G.  My previous lappie Toshiba Satellite died on me 6 months ago..I had to “ration” hubby’s laptop and hardly had any chance to access to the computer..until Acer came along. I am looking forward to enjoy my lifelong journey with “him” as for long as “he” doesn’t die on me..wink..wink..

Last night, I did something, something which I am not very proud of.. something which I am very, very ashamed.. I shed tears in front of my kids.. I couldn’t help it and caused some anxieties in them… Big J then asked.. “Mum, why are you crying?” I just said, “Nothing lah, something got into my eyes” and he said, “Mum, you always teach us not to tell lies, I know you are lying..” And Little J said, “Come, I play Barcarolle for you to make you feel better.”

Deep inside, I know that sometimes it is better to tell lies if the lies can make a person feel better…. I vow never, ever, ever to shed tears in front of my kids again…..I love you both so..so..much..

There are times when things just don’t turn out the way you want them to be….things just can’t turn out the way you want them to be..because certain circumstances do not and can not make it happen no matter how much you want it to happen, you can only desire them from a distance….. yes..Life is indeed so…so.. beautiful…

A close friend just confided in me… She is going through a very difficult phase of her life.. It’s gonna be a very tough, difficult, painful and unpleasant decision….. whatever decision you made, you have my support…… it is better off to leave the person who hurts you so much, emotionally and physically than to live with him for the sake of saving the marriage, for the sake of social pressure… Move on…God bless…

The mid-year term exam for the kids are just over. Both Js did very well. For Little J, this is his first test and I am very, very satisfied with his results. Although he was having fever during the exam, he still managed to get excellent grade.

As for Big J, he has shown a remarkable improvement. I have friends coming up to me and asked what’s his secret to produce such amazing improvement, from a C grade student to an  A grade student. My answer is simple… he has the right mindset & attitude and I just need to provide him the necessary resources and keep nurturing him.. there’s NO secret at all….

I was cooking in the kitchen when Big J came over and we spoke..

Big J : Mum, why is it that every end of the year, my class teacher will ask us to fill in our ambition in the year book..

Me : Is it? What did you fill in?

Big J : Errr… first year, I wanted to be a police..

Me : Ok…2nd year?

Big J : 2nd and 3rd year, I wanted to be a doctor..

Me : Is that so? Woo..that’s nice.. and how about this year? What would you like to be?

Big J : A comic writer! I want to write and draw comic to make people happy and laugh…

Me : Excellent baby……

Little J was having fever last week. I brought him to school daily and waited for him to finish his test and then brought him home. I took the opportunity to walk round the school and found an interesting fact… nearly every teacher carries a long cane! Wow!

During my primary school days, I couldn’t recall ever seeing a cane in class. I was in a missionary school and the stern looks of the nuns were enough to scare the hell out of me. The most unforgetable punishment was to write 100 lines of ”I must not talk in class” …

Is the cane really effective to discipline a young child? I doubt…
